Cellular Respiration

1. In the cellular respiration lab, we measured cellular respiration in yeast growing in several different kinds of sugars. Describe how cellular respiration was demonstrated.

2. In the respiration lab, germinated bean seeds were placed in a vial with cotton and KOH. List the gasses produced and/or consumed by the beans and tell how they affected the water movement in the pipette. Be sure to state the function of KOH in your answer.
