Username and Password

If you have never used your CCC username and password, you must first do the following:

1. Go to the Clinton Student Portal at http://www.clinton.edu/NIS/studentportal.cxml. You can also access this from the Clinton Community College homepage.

2. Click the last link on the left - “Password Reset”

3. Enter your Username. (The first 4 letters of your last name and the last 4 numbers of your social security number.)

4. For “old password”, enter your full SS# without dashes.

5. Create a new password of at least 6 characters.

6. Wait 5 minutes before proceeding.

Viewing Biology Web Files

Some of the files on The Biology Web require a CCC user name and password. A dialog box similar to the following will be displayed.

Enter clinton\ in front of your student ID. There should not be any spaces between clinton\ and your student ID. 

For example, suppose that your CCC student ID is green8539. You should enter clinton\green8539 in the student ID field.
