LABORATORY WASTE


	BIOHAZARD BUCKET - Use this Red Bagged Bucket for microbial wastes and other NON sharp Biohazard Wastes. as well as Preserved Specimens ************************************************

	BioHazard Waste (aka Regulated Medical Waste ) - the plastic buckets are for ALL pipettes glass and plastic. ( if it will poke through a bag then put it in the bucket ) ************************************************

	General Waste - anything that would go in a standard waste basket. ************************************************

	ALL broken glass should be placed in here. ************************************************

	All used gloves should be placed in these receptacles. NOT ALL rooms have these, for those rooms use General Waste. ************************************************

	Sharps Container - use when disposing of scalpel blades, needles or anything that isn't glass and might poke through a red biohazard bag
