Assignment 8

This module deals with malware (malicious software). Students will be assigned a malware topic to research and write a report about. Students are free to research the topic using any method they choose but must document sources of information and be able to defend the references. I recommend that students only use reputable sources because they are easily defended.

The written report shall be graded as follows:

1. How well the report is written.

• Introductory info
• Supporting paragraphs
• Summary or conclusion

2. The report is technically accurate.
3. Topical info is complete and understandable.
4. The report demonstrates good grammar and attention to detail.
5. Reports are limited to five pages total:

• Four content pages, one reference page
• Font size of 12
• 1.5 line spacing
