Projects

This assignment is project-based. Working in teams of two, students will prepare a document that outlines the procedure of completing an in-depth networking task. This assignment will be performed in four phases:

1. Teams work through the assigned task documenting each step as they go.
2. Teams create the formal procedural document complied during phase one that details all the steps necessary to complete the task.
3. The procedural steps document will be assigned to another team who will perform quality control on the document. During this step, the quality control team will also complete the entire task by following the steps in the document. Using the document allows the second team to evaluate the work of the first team by providing written feedback.
4. The procedural steps document is returned to the original team with the written feedback. The original team incorporates the written feedback as necessary improving the document.

• Setting up a Windows Workgroup
• Promoting a Windows Workgroup to a Windows Domain
• Setting up a Wireless Network
• Fiber Optic Splicing
