Dissolved Oxygen Probe

Set-up

Remove the protective cap from the tip of the probe.

If the probe was not used in the previous laboratory period, unscrew the membrane cap from the tip of the probe.

Add 1 mL DO Electrode Filling Solution into the membrane cap. A plastic measuring pipette has been supplied for this purpose.

Carefully thread the membrane cap containing the fluid back onto the tip of the probe.

Place the tip of the probe into a beaker containing distilled water.

The Vernier interface box should be plugged in and a green flashing light should be displayed.

Start Logger Pro by double-clicking the icon (if available) or clicking Programs - Vernier Software - Logger Pro.
